SOMCO now ISO, OSHAS certified

ISO and OSHAS certified. Skyway O&M Corporation (SOMCO), the operator of the Skyway System, recently achieved certification of its integrated quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety (QEHS) management systems in conformance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 + cor. 1:2009 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. The certifications were granted by TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. after passing a rigorous audit that tested SOMCO's compliance with international standards. With the implementation of the QEHS management system, SOMCO believes that environmental protection and health and safety of employees, contractors, motorists and other stakeholders are ensured; and the level of customer satisfaction raised. SOMCO officer-in-charge Ramon M. Borromeo receives the certificate from Tristan Arwen Loveres, chief operating officer of TUV Rheinland Phils. Inc..
