Stage 2 Elevated Superstructure

Stage 2's Elevated Road Superstructure. After completion of all Skyway columns on the project’s main alignment early January 2010, CMMTC and its main contractor, D.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI), is now working on the elevated road superstructure above the Bicutan-Sucat at-grade section. Main photo shows workers now installing rebars and steel forms to support the pavement and ensure the stability of the elevated road structure, while inset shows the concreting of a deck slab portion. To further speed up the completion of the project, originally scheduled in May 2011, DMCI has deployed a second work group for the deck slab construction.
